Been a while, partly because life has been a bit mad and partly because when I sit down to do a blog post I can never find the Create New Post button. I have now worked it out. Summary to date - about ten festivals approached, no replies -yet, fingers crossed. I was asked to do a set at the Merthyr Writers' Day but that got postponed so whilst I would have cut my teeth on it, that experience will have to wait. Heyho.
Meanwhile, I hope I have solved the guitar sounding like it's in a shoebox on recordings, by buying a new pedal and hooking it up to the one I had just put up for sale. The logic is that rather than process the guoitar signal in the recording software, I will process it before it gets there and hopefully it will be right from the outset.
