The story continues. Suddenly.

After a bit of a hiatus, the bit is back between teeth. Out of the blue, Rudry Festival got in touch and after apologising for the delay, asked if I still would like to play at their event. The answer is of course a resounding Yes. So now after the excitement, the terror is setting in as I realise that this is the start of either a long term and enjoyable foray into the world of amusing people, or the dull whmpf of a damp squib.

Either way, it will be interesting. My fabulous Jane keeps encouraging me; we have the brand decals on the campervan, a brand flag for flying at festivals, a brand studio backdrop stand for the 3 x 2 metre stage backdrop, we'll get the backdrop soon, and the hunt is on for the perfect hat stand.

I hope to do the Cwmaman Cwmfest later this year as well as do a gig at Bourtons. Even if i only get those three this year, it will be a start.

After plumping for the Tiger guitar, I have found yet again, the pleasure of playing a better instrument. Perhaps I'll stick with the Faith.

Meanwhile, Nigel Evans, a local friend, has said he will record me for a ‘merch’ CD. I have sourced a CD duplication company who will supply as low a number as 50 with sleeves and shrink wrapped. That number will either sell very quickly which will finance the next production run, or won't sell, or at least slowly, which means not too much capital tied up.

On a positive note, no-one has laughed when I have said what the plan is.

And a round of applause to the customer service team at my website provider, bandzoogle, for instantly giving me an answer to my question to them.
